Large UDA crest with memorials to five fallen volunteers. "Lest we Forget" "'C' Batt". "Dennis Berry. Murdered by Cowards 13.7.75". From Sutton; Denis Berry was a 21 year old UDA shot and killed by the UVF shortly after leaving the UDA social club in Taughmonagh, Belfast during a Ulster Defence Association (UDA) / Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) feud. "Bobby Dougan. Murdered by the enemies of Ulster 10.2.98" Robert Dougan was a 38 year old UDA man shot by the IRA, while sitting in his stationary car, outside Balmoral Textiles Ltd, Station View, off Upper Dunmurry Lane, Dunmurry, Belfast. "Jim Guiney. Murdered by the enemies of Ulster 19.1.98". Jim Guiney was a 38 year old UDA man shot by the INLA at his carpet shop, Kingsway, Dunmurry, Belfast. "Brian Morton. Freedom Fighter. Killed in Action. 7.7.97". Brian Morton was a 28-year-old UDA man who died in a premature bomb explosion along the River Lagan Towpath, by Seymour Hill, Dunmurry, Belfast. "Wesley Nicholl. Murdered by the enemies of Ulster. 17.6.76" Wesley Nicholl was a 40 year old UDA man shot at his home in Larch Grove, Seymour Hill, Dunmurry, Belfast. He died on 19.7.76. |
