Four silhouettes of soldiers running across the battlefield at the Somme at sunrise. Smoke rises from an explosion, and the barbed wire fortifications can be seen. The crest of the 36th Ulster Division is shown with the red hand and the harp and crown.

Description:
'Let us not forget those of our comrades who have made the supreme sacrifice. Ulster mourn's them but is proud of the glory and honour they have won for the imperial province. Somme 1916' accompanied by emblems of the 36th Ulster Division, the UVF and YCV. Seven soldiers climb from their trenches and are urged forward across the battlefield in a painting reminiscent of Beadle's original.

Description:

The main image shows King William III at the Boyne, atop a white horse. Andrew Murphy (1926 ' 1977) was a member of the Carluke Primrose Prize Flute Band for 40 years. The Andrew Murphy Memorial Flute Band is based in Carluke.

Description:
Black and white five-panelled mural Central panel shows three armed and masked loyalists 'Ballyclare 'B' Coy'. Three early twentieth century loyalists are shown 'Today, Tomorrow, Forever. Armed and Ready'. A woman stands with a rifle beside a Union Jack, an image seen previously in loyalist murals in Belfast 'Deserted I Stand Alone'. Silhouetted figures clamber over barbed wire '36th Ulster Division, Somme'. Two bowed WWI figures stand beside a UVF gravestone 'Lest We Forget'. The YCV crest is also shown.

The Scots Covenant was a 17th century event whereby the Nobles, Ministers and ordinary Scots signed a document (a contract with God). This had been drawn up by Archibald Johnston and Alexander Henderson and signatories pledged to defend Scotland's rights, and demanded a Scottish Parliament and a free General Assembly to limit the powers of the King.

Description:
Community mural showing trees growing from the globe set in a galaxy of stars. The sun, moon, CND symbol and Yin and Yang symbol are used. This mural replaced a mural of a YCV gunman after objections were raised by the principal, Mr Robert Gibney, due to the former murals proximity to Earlview Primary School. The mural was designed by Ruth Priestly and transferred to the wall by Jane Crymble with the assistance of youngsters from the school.

'Free the Colombia 3. Tabhair abhaile iad!' (Send them home). 'Tried by the Media! No Chance of a fair trial. Their lives are in mortal danger'. The mural shows the image of the Colombia 3 (Martin McCauley, James Monaghan and Niall Connolly) flanked by two Colombian guards.
