The IRA attacked the station in 1983 with a 1000lb car bomb, and an 11-week-old girl was injured in 2001 during a Real IRA attack. |

Graffiti 'What Ever You Say Say Nothing P. O'Neil'. Graffiti painted in the wake of the murder of Robert McCartney, a 33-year-old man from Short Strand who died from his injuries sustained by Magennis' bar, Belfast on 30th January 2005. His family entered into a widely reported media campaign for justice. The IRA released two statements relating to the killing on February 16th and 25th. P O'Neill is the name signed at the foot of all IRA statements from the Irish Republican Publicity Bureau, Dublin. |
