The following page has been compiled by Martin Melaugh to complement the Index of Deaths (1969-2001) by Malcolm Sutton. The information below is in draft form and should be treated with some caution. Some of the deaths listed below may be shown later to be unrelated to the conflict.

Status: Civilian (Civ), Killed by: Unknown
Shot dead in his home, Lenadoon Avenue, west Belfast. [On 18 May 2020 the PSNI stated that Dissident Republicanism one one line of inquiry. Also that he had been subject to a threat from "a grouping of violent Dissident Republicans" several years before. (See: BBC).] |

Status: Civilian (Civ), Killed by: Unknown
Shot dead in Rodney Parade, off the lower Falls Road, west Belfast. [On 28 June 2020 the PSNI stated that they had not establised a motive for the killing but did not rule out the involvement of organised crime groups. (See: BBC).] |

Glen Quinn (47) Protestant
Status: Civilian (Civ), Killed by: Unknown
Attacked, and beaten to death in his home, Ashleigh Park, Woodburn, Carrickfergus, County Antrim. [There were media reports that Mr Quinn had been involved in an earlier row with a member of the Ulster Defence Association (See: Belfast Telegraph, 6 January 2020). On 7 January 2020, the PSNI said that one line of inquiry was that members of South East Antrim UDA were linked to the killing (See: BBC).] |

In most cases the photographs were taken by a member of the family, a relative or a friend. At the time the photographs were provided to the local media, the name of the photographer was not recorded. No payment was made for the photograph. In some cases the original image was never returned.
