Exhibition and associated activities: | Story Makers 2008-2011, Twenty-five textile stories: A festival of arpilleras and quilts with an associated launch, workshops and activities to mark International Women's Day 2012. |
Description: | This exhibition, with an associated launch, workshops and activities features the story of the 25 textile installations displayed at the Verbal Arts Centre since 2008.
The exhibition depicts a variety of themes: local, international, human rights issues and the experiences of new communities. It also provides an opportunity for a get-together of many of the different participating groups and communities.
