The photograph shows part of the 'peace line', a large brick wall with additional metal grills on top, which runs between Catholic and Protestant areas of West Belfast. Because of the shortage of land for residential buildings on the Catholic side of the 'peace line', the houses on the left of the photograph back right up the the security wall on the right.
