Permanent rotating exhibition:Conflict Textiles: Magee Campus Library, Ulster University - Mujeres Disruptivas
Description: "Mujeres Disruptivas / Disruptive Women" is the ninth installation of textiles within the permanent rotating exhibition Conflict Textiles collection: Magee Campus Library, Ulster University. It marks the 15th anniversary of Conflict Textiles inaugural exhibition The Politics of Chilean Arpilleras (2008). It builds on a ten year plus collaborative relationship with Fundació Ateneu Sant Roc which has progressed from exhibiting each other’s textiles to co-curated exhibitions such as #ChildrensRights / #DerechosdelNiño / #DretsdelsInfants. “Mujeres Disruptivas / Disruptive Women” is the second co-curated exhibition and adds a new dimension to the Fundació Ateneu Sant Roc exhibition Mujeres Disruptivas / Disruptive Women (Badalona, 2019).

The exhibition trail, which is announced in the Tower Museum with a display of archive material and an arpillera, takes place across three venues:
-Flowerfield Arts Centre, features the bulk of the Mujeres Disruptivas / Disruptive Women exhibition.
-In addition to the textiles displayed within Magee Campus Library, Ulster University, a number of pieces are also on exhibit at our second rotating exhibition space The Troubles and Beyond in Ulster Museum.

Textiles from Conflict Textiles collection are linked in the 'Textiles displayed' section below. Fundació Ateneu Sant Roc textiles can be viewed at the following links (Catalan): No to Arms!, Votes for Women and Don't Cut my Wings
