Exhibition and associated activities: | War-Torn Children, Childhoods in a World at War |
Description: | Conflict Textiles contributes to the digital exhibition Childhoods in a World at War 1939-1945 with 6 Arpilleras from previous War-Torn Children exhibitions, highlighting the devastating impact of war on children.
This is the latest collaboration between Gernika Peace Museum and Conflict Textiles, marking 10 years since the original exhibition STITCHING PEACE: Conflict, Arpilleras, Memory.
Launch will be on the 30th January.
The REMEMCHILD project (101091194 CERV-2022-CITIZENS-REM) has been funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme – European Remembrance.
This display is a satellite of the Conflict Textiles retrospective exhibition Threads of Empowerment: Conflict Textiles’ International Journey at the Ulster Museum, Belfast (June 2024 - March 2025). For more information please visit our Summary page. |
