Rotating exhibition: | Conflict Textiles / Ulster University, Coleraine Campus |
Description: | This rotating exhibition is a collaboration between Conflict Textiles and several entities within Ulster University: INCORE, TJI and the John Hume & Thomas P. O'Neill Chair in Peace. It builds on previous collaborations across Ulster University, particularly the rotating exhibition Conflict Textiles collection: Library, Derry ~ Londonderry campus launched in 2020, and Conflict Textiles collection: Library, Belfast Campus, launched in 2023.
Comprised of four arpilleras themed on education, this inaugural exhibition marks the inclusion of textile language across all 3 campus libraries of Ulster University. The opening will take place on Wednesday 24th April at 11am.
This exhibition is a satellite of the Conflict Textiles retrospective exhibition Threads of Empowerment: Conflict Textiles’ International Journey at the Ulster Museum, Belfast (June 2024 - March 2025). For more information please visit our Summary page. |
