| Forum: | I Foro de Arpilleras de Cataluña: Nuestras historias hacen la Historia /First Forum of Arpilleras in Catalonia: Our stories make our History. |
| Description: | In 2008, the exhibition "The politics of Chilean Arpilleras" was exhibited in the Centre for Equality of Women and Men, Barcelona, Spain. The Forum, set up in 2011 to mark the third anniversary of the exhibition, aimed to connect different initiatives that were seeded through the exhibition. The platform, which emerged from the forum, facilitated a dialogue and learning space for all the arpilleras projects.

| Outcome: | Roser Corbera, a member of the organising team made an arpillera Círculo de mujeres: Forum de arpilleras de Cataluña 2011 / Circle of women: Catalonia Arpilleras’ Forum 2011 to honour the Forum event. She based it on a photograph (main photo above) of the organising team.
The Forum will continue over the coming years and it is planned to host a second Forum in 2014. |
