Exhibition and associated activities:Stitching and Unstitching The Troubles: a two-phase programme of exhibitions and workshops exploring memories of conflict through textiles arpilleras created in Northern Ireland and across the world.
Description: This exhibition "Stitching and Unstitching The Troubles-phase 2" includes textiles developed by local communities prompted by a series of workshops which followed the September 2012 exhibition in Coleraine: "Stitching and Unstitching The Troubles-phase 1."

Through these textiles and a number of other pieces from Northern Ireland, England, Spain, Chile, Peru and Colombia, we are invited to explore the multi-layered impact of conflict and its aftermath with a central emphasis on The Troubles in Northern Ireland. Phase two of this two phase programme of exhibitions and workshops incorporates a series of related events.

The exhibition launch takes place on Monday 15th April 2013 at 2.00 pm.
Exhibition opening times are: Monday to Friday 10 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 4 pm.
All events are free, but booking is essential.
