Seminar (online):Encuentro Arpillera / Arpillera Colloquium / Gesprächsabend zum Thema Arpilleras
Description: This online seminar hosted by the congregation of Evangelische Johannesgemeinde Berlin, accompanied their church based exhibition of arpilleras made in Chile during the years of the Pinochet dictatorship.

The bilingual seminar was organised by Fundación Cristo Vive (Chile / Berlin) in order to bear witness to the stories and experiences of the women of Santiago. It featured presentations in Spanish by Gloria Torres, Ana Clara Araya and Roberta Bacic, Conflict Textiles. The five arpilleras presented by Roberta spanned four decades, from the 1980s to 2015.
