Description: A short documentary film: Through the Eye of the Needle, The Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz, is the focus of this year's Holocaust Memorial Day Event, hosted by Derry City Council's Heritage & Museum Service in the Tower Museum.

The film features interviews with a Holocaust survivor Esther Nisenthal Krinitz and outlines how she chose to tell the story of her survival through a series of fabric art pieces. The film, by Nina Shapiro-Perl is produced by Art and Remembrance, a non profit education organisation. At the conclusion of the film a short question and answer session will be chaired by Textile Art Curator, Roberta Bacic.
