| Exhibition: | ARK / Conflict Textiles – Young Lives |
| Description: | ARK/Conflict Textiles – Young Lives marks the seventh installation of the rotating exhibition which commenced as a collaboration between Conflict Textiles, ARK and the McClay Library at Queen’s University Belfast.
Since 2003, the Young Life and Times (YLT) survey has recorded the attitudes and experiences of 16 year olds in Northern Ireland. In addition, since 2008, the Kids’ Life and Times (KLT) survey has focused on the lives of 10-11 year olds. Key issues emerging from these surveys include financial hardship, gender-based violence, crime, the effects of COVID, and political exclusion, all of which are, and have been, experienced by children and young people worldwide.
Details of the inaugural exhibition are available at ARK / Conflict Textiles (01/06/2023 - 06/03/2024). Further information can be found on the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth exhibitions on their own event page.
