Permanent rotating exhibition:Conflict Textiles: Library, Derry~Londonderry campus - World Bee Day
Description: To raise awareness of the importance of pollinators, the threats they face and how to save them, the UN has designated the 20th May as World Bee Day. Conflict Textiles will be exhibiting two pieces to raise awareness of the day and also understanding on how to get involved in saving our pollinators.

The two pieces on display show the importance of bees and the results of intensive farming practises and overuse of pesticides on the future of the world. They show how communities can come together to grow fruit and vegetables, which rely on local pollinators to ensure healthy produce, and make the space a green haven where everyone is welcome.

The exhibition launch will take place at 2pm on the 8th May.

Details of the inaugural and subsequent exhibitions are available at Conflict Textiles collection: Derry~Londonderry campus Library, Ulster University.
