| Symposium: | Indonesia Knowledge Exchange 2025 - Conversing with Domestic Memories |
| Description: | The Transformative Memory International Network (TMIN) is hosting a travelling exhibition focussing on passing on memories of violent pasts across generations. It is coming from the Toronto MemoLab to the Indonesia Knowledge Exchange and will run between February 16th to the 22nd, 2025.
The goal is for TMIN partners will meet with Indonesia-based artists to enable conversation, reflection and engagement around themes of memory in contexts of prolonged violence. Taking the concept of Memory as not exclusively an account of past facts, the team will explore a curatorial approach where memory work is linked to the collective, creative and transnational. |
