ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT STATISTICS ANNUAL REPORT

The Road Traffic Accident Statistics Annual Report contains a wide range of statistics relating to all road traffic injury accidents occurring in Northern Ireland during the year to which it refers. The text is complemented by extensive use of colour graphics and tables. The report highlights trends in the incidence and severity of road traffic injury accidents and shows the principal factors contributing to road accidents and deaths and patterns that can be identified in relation to the timing and location of accidents. Details are also given of the types and ages of road users most at risk of being killed or injured on the roads.
