NORTHERN IRELAND CANCER REGISTRATION STATISTICS
This bulletin presents data detailing cancer registrations in
Northern Ireland during the calendar year. Data is received
from two sources:- (a) hospital registrations; and (b)
registered deaths recorded by General Register Office.
Notification is voluntary and coverage is estimated at
approximately 65%. Queen's University has assumed
responsibility for this function from June 1993.
