REGIONAL TRENDS

The chapters of Regional Trends cover a wide range of social, vital, demographic, industrial and economic statistics. Each of the 11 standard regions of the UK is profiled with simple text highlighting major regional trends and a few key charts comparing the region to the UK as a whole. Key information is also given for counties, other sub-regions (including Health and Library Boards in Northern Ireland) and individual local authority districts.
