PREVENTION OF TERRORISM (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT STATISTICS
This is a publication prepared by the NIO Statistics and
Research Branch. It contains some historical information on the
operation of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provision)
Acts updated with figures from the relevant three monthly
period. In this it details the numbers of arrests and charges
made under the acts and sets out the offences with which persons
detained under the acts have been otherwise charged.
Information is also given on lengths of detention and outcome -
whether persons have been released or charged. It also provides
figures on exclusion orders.
