RUC CHIEF CONSTABLE'S ANNUAL REPORT
The Chief Constable's Annual Report summarises the activities
carried out by the Royal Ulster Constabulary during the year to
which it refers. It is produced by the RUC and through text,
tables, photographs and high quality graphics depicts the range
of RUC work. The areas covered in some detail in the body of
the report are - crime and security, including
anti-racketeering, crime prevention and domestic violence;
personnel and training; traffic policy and traffic accidents;
support services including expenditure, organisation,
communications and computer services, and community relations,
including the juvenile liaison scheme, police educational
programme, the youth activity schemes and victim support. The
Chief Constable's 'Strategy Statement' is set out in one of the
Appendices which also contain statistics on crime, terrorist
related crime, traffic accidents and personnel matters.
