Note by Justice For the Forgotten[Key_Events] Key_Issues] [Conflict_Background] Dublin & Monaghan Bombs: [Menu] [Summary] [Chronology] [Dead] [Main_Pages] [Sources] JUSTICE FOR THE FORGOTTENThe 17th May 1974, in Dublin and Monaghan, saw the greatest loss of life in a single day in the history of 'the Troubles'. Nobody was ever charged, or even questioned, about these murders. Our campaign for truth and justice was established in January 1996 and we are now awaiting the publication of the Independent Commission of Inquiry which is expected within the next few months. Justice for the Forgotten regards this process as the first stage in the establishment of a full judicial public inquiry into all aspects of this case. The Independent Commission of Inquiry is a process of assessment, not a private inquiry, and on that basis, the members agreed to co-operate. For further details please contact: The Secretary
