This is a draft (v3) guide to resources on Northern Ireland elections that are currently (December 2003) available on the Internet.

Information on elections held in Northern Ireland. The site has been compiled by Nicholas Whyte (formerly Director of Elections / Party Organiser with the Alliance Party of Northern Ireland; currently Research Fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels). In addition to election results the site provides a brief description of electoral systems used and the reason for the elections. There are also links to a number of other pages providing details on the constituencies, the political parties, and comments on the results.

This site maintained by British Information Services, the New York based information department of the British Embassy in Washington DC (an overseas post of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London) provides some information on Northern Ireland Westminster elections. Most of the current (April 1997) material at the site relates to the 1997 General Election with some information on the Northern Ireland political parties.
