Citations to books, reports, journal articles, statements, newspaper articles, other media items, etc. are searchable via the CAIN bibliography. There are currently 7,109 victims-related citations.

Most of the citations link to items available in the CAIN Archive, while some link to original versions at external sites. At the time of writing (June 2009) some responses to permission requests are outstanding. As any remaining permissions are received the links will be changed from external sites to the Archive.

At the time the victims-related citations were being compiled, digital copies of items were made. There are currently approximately 6,700 digital files stored in the Archive.

Media calendar A calendar of links to dated materials that were published during the lifetime of the project (1 October 2006 - 31 March 2009).

List by author A full list of the victims-related material by author.

Sutton database Details of how the information from Malcolm Sutton's Index of Deaths is presented in the section on victims; and how the main CAIN chronology was updated with links to Sutton's material.

McKeown database A database of deaths compiled by Michael McKeown and made publicly available for the first time in June 2009.
