| Description: | A group of children in the Creggan react to the presence of a British Army Saracen armoured vehicle during 'Operation Motorman'. This operation ended the 'no-go' areas and British Army patrols became a regular feature of life in the Creggan and Bogside. These patrols were however resented by most residents. Many children in the area would often throw stones at any army vehicles patrolling the areas. |
