Title: | Children Watch a British Army 'Raid' [No.F8P13] |
Description: | A group of young children look on as a British Army 'raid' takes place in a house in the Bogside area of Derry. The search of (mainly Catholic) homes in Northern Ireland has been a feature of life in the region since 1969. Often the 'raids' would degenerate into street disturbances or more serious rioting. This particular raid was on the home of a leading Republican. |
