| Description: | A fairly typical scene at a more serious riot in the Creggan area of Derry. Unlike minor street disturbances the number of people engaged in the riot, and their relatively older age, marks this incident out as being a more serious encounter between the British Army and local residents. The soldiers are hidden behind a cloud of CS gas that they have fired to try to dispurse the crowd. |
