A young corporal making notes as he is out patrolling. At the end of each shift each commander had to go through a debrief. As patrols could sometimes last hours and the soldiers would be tired, it was easier to write everything down to jog the memory. Even the smallest of details could have a huge impact for the intelligence guys. (Paul Crispin) |
