This page contains photographs (taken between 2006 and 2007) of the murals, and these are followed by photographs of the murals in the context of the Bogside area (some show general context views of the Bogside and some were taken at street level to show each mural in relation to other murals and the street scene). There are 51 photographs in total. All photographs were taken by Martin Melaugh. The thumbnail images are linked to larger sizes (1000pixels) for detailed viewing (click on each of the thumbnail images to see the larger picture). The murals are displayed in the order in which they appear on the street moving from south to north (from the corner of Westland Street and Rosville Street to the corner of Rosville Street and William Street). A number of the photographs below were used as part of an exhibition about the work of The Bogside Artists at Georgia Southern Museum (autumn 2007). The exhibition was comprised of large reproductions of the photographs. Technical Details: The photographs were taken on a Bronica GS-1 (6cmx7cm) medium format camera using Fujichrome Provia 100F slide film. The images have initially been scanned on a flatbed scanner (adjustments were made in Photoshop - auto levels; auto contrast; auto colour). Some of the images were scanned a second time in a medium format film scanner to a high resolution.
