Comments: |
One of two plaques erected by the family; the other one situated at Iveagh Drive lower. On 6 September 2007 the IRA released a statement admitting that one of its members fired the shot which ricocheted off a wall and struck the child. The IRA apologised to the family. A few days following the statement this plaque was unveiled. |
