Monument comprised of a figurative statue on a large inscribed plinth, standing on a platform with three steps. Two additional slabs stand one on either side of the plinth. Figurative statue is of Cuchulainn. This monument forms the central part of the main Provisional IRA burial plot within the City Cemetery. |

The statue of Cuchulainn appears to be moddelled on that by Oliver Sheppard which is on display in the General Post Office (GPO) in Dublin. |
