Description:

These photos depict some of the 132 Jewish children who were rescued from Terezin concentration camp, located 30 miles north of Prague in the Czech Republic. These children were the only survivors of the estimated 15,000 children incarcerated in the period 1941-1945.

In this image these surviving children are playing in the park of Castle Olesovice. This photo is one of five images, all of which depict children who were rescued by members of War Resisters’ International.
