Workshop:Arpillera Workshop
Description: This workshop is part of Creative Community Connections (CCC), an Esme Fairbairn & Museums Association funded partnership project, between National Museums Northern Ireland (NMNI) and Derry City & Strabane District Council Museum and Visitor Services.

Alongside the Arpillera workshop a ‘Mini Museum’ will be set up comprised of objects from the NMNI collection which are artists’ interpretations of conflict and its impact on communities.

Outcome: Each participant made an arpillera doll which will now be sewn onto hessian and become a collective arpillera that will reside at the Gasyard Arts Factory.
