Description: Parents And Kids Together is a new and exciting initiative which involves parents and children in a wide range of activities and actions, some of which are organised for the children, some for the parents and some for the family unit. An important factor which distinguishes PAKT from any other programme is its concentration on relationships between parents and children within the family unit. PAKT operates from a Christian ethos and welcomes people from all backgrounds, traditions and religions. PAKT projects are expected to incorporate the Christian values of Love, Friendship and Tolerance in a cross-community setting.
PAKT projects should be accessible and affordable to all. Families
should not be prevented from participating on account of inability
to pay the normal commercial rates for the services and activities
being provided.
