ANALYSIS OF THE NORTHERN IRELAND REGISTER OF ELECTORS
A new register of electors is produced each year. The yearly
analysis contains details of the number of entries in the
register on a Ward, District Electoral area, District Council
area, Parliamentary Constituency and Northern Ireland basis. It
also shows the composition, on a ward basis, of the District
Council areas, the District Electoral areas and the
Parliamentary Constituencies. Analyses are available for the
years back to, and including, 1979. It should be noted that the
various boundaries are affected from time to time by periodic
revisions carried out by the Local Government Boundaries
Commissioner, the District Electoral Areas Commissioner and the
Parliamentary Boundary Commission.
