BASIC STATISTICS OF THE COMMUNITY
This annual pocket-sized booklet gives national and some
regional statistics on the following topics : general
statistics, economy and finance, population and social
conditions, manufacturing and service industries, agriculture,
forestry and fisheries, foreign trade, services and transport
and the environment. It gives all the main statistics on the
European Community, and provides comparisons with a number of
European countries (Turkey, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and
Finland) and the major world trading partners (USA, Canada and
Japan).
