| Description: | A view of East Wall, City Walls, Derry. The 'street' in the photograph is part of the City Walls in Derry. The terrace of houses on the right were built up against the inside wall. The terrace was demolished in the early 1970s. The houses probably began life as fashionable dwellings but by the 1960s the properties had become tenement dwellings with a number of families living in each house. |
