Exhibition and conference:Widerstehen, Überwinden, Erinnern: Zur Politik des Nähens / Resisting, Overcoming, Remembering: The Politics of Sewing
Description: This exhibition is part of the conference "Women Make History and Have Stories to Tell", an international conference and celebration to mark the 200th Jubilee of BASEL MISSION. It incorporates 12 arpilleras from Chile, Peru, Spain, England and Ireland which span from the times of the Chilean dictatorship up to recent conflicts from different places around the world.
